My week: 29th February Posted on March 11, 2016June 5, 2016 by charmorgan92 Finally got round to exploring the Museum of Liverpool- after my MA and taking part in #FLMuseums I was keen to have a look around. Definitely one on the ‘must go back to’ list! I went to and was inspired by the Moving On Up Museums Association Conference, aimed at early museum professionals. It was a great day and so good to meet my fellow new museum professionals! Moved into the third phase of the library tour- we put the Brewery display into Forest Town library… …and the Shoe Co. case into Warsop library I went back to Leicester University to talk to this year’s cohort about what I’ve been up to since graduating. It was lovely to see my classmates- both in real life and online from Canada! I went to the Treasures exhibition at the National Museum Cardiff, exploring archaeological ‘adventures’. The objects were great but I would’ve liked to have seen more about the legacy of historical archaeology. The Treasures exhibition is open until the 30 October. Find out more here.
